How to End Your Frustration and Lose Body Fat Fast

Visit any gym and you'll see people who are frustrated with their attempts to lose body fat.

They're working hard at trying to lose fat fast but with very little improvement to show for it so they hop from one plan to another in a desperate attempt to find the answer.

Some become so frustrated with their results that the frustration causes them to fall into unhealthy eating habits and even to get their satisfaction from binging! What's worse is that all of these people are following the typically recommended exercise and fad diets that are all the rage for losing fat fast.

Usually these people are focusing on the short term - their approach is wrong. They weren't thinking of lifelong health and fitness, but instead they were thinking about burning fat and getting into shape for "swimsuit season".

The problem is that trying a short-term fix is easier than trying to establish healthy eating and exercise habits such as:

* brief, progressive, and intense resistance training,

* eating a diet full of nutrient rich foods,

* drinking plenty of water,

* getting enough quality sleep and rest,

* eating fiber rich foods such as fresh fruit and vegetables.

* eating food slowly and enjoying every bite.

So what is the answer? It is to develop our determination to succeed at building healthy habits and safe weight loss.

The amazing thing is that most of us instinctively know these facts but we've fallen into bad habits and it's difficult to change. Our efforts are undermined by negative thoughts such as:

* "I've been fat for years. I can't change now"

* "A leopard won't change its spots"

* "I've always been fat and I always will be fat",

so that's exactly what happens to us - just like the title of the book, "What you say is what you get!".

What we need to do is change our inner dialogue with ourselves from negative to positive. I have been greatly helped myself in this by authors such as Dr Shad Helmstetter, who has written several books such as, "What to say when we talk to ourselves".

We all talk to ourselves, whether we realise it or not, and it's good to say nice things to ourselves instead of nasty things. That way we encourage ourselves to success and the result is safe weight loss instead of futile attempts to lose fat fast.
